Are You Ready to Committ?

     Most of our dogs become both family pets and hunting companions. The entire family shares a special bond with our companions. Therefore, we ask that you please discuss the importance of commitment and patience before deciding to send a beloved pet away for long period of time for training.

     Erie Kennel operates on a strict daily schedule. If you are curious about your dogs progress or would like to see your dog. Please make an appointment to ensure that training schedules are not disrupted. We are glad to make accommodations.

 

     The first few days in a new environment can be stressful. Our dogs will the spend majority of their time when not training in a kennel. Dogs new to being kenneled may experience poor appetite, and some mild anxiety until they settle into their new surrounding. Erie Kennel will work with the dog to create a safe environment and adjust training demands until they have adapted.

     Please remember these are working dogs! They train daily in rough and extreme conditions and unfortunately just like humans' injuries can occur. If your dog is in need of veterinary care, you will be notified, and arrangements will be made at either a veterinary of our choosing or yours. You are responsible for all bills associated with veterinary care.
